Santa likes a cooler venue! Please turn down the heat to about 65 degrees.
Be ready to take pictures! Remember batteries and device chargers, and anything else you may need to take photos or videos.
Kindly request or reserve a parking spot for Santa! Santa has a busy holiday season, so saving time walking all the way to your venue is much appreciated! Feel free to even put up a festive sign: Parking for Santa’s Sleigh!
Have a solid chair ready for Santa! Dining chairs work best–folding chairs and plastic chairs do not work well.
Think about preparing a festive background! Your photo op will look its best if Santa is surrounded by Christmas cheer. A Christmas tree, fireplace, stockings, Christmas card collection, etc. will all add to the backdrop!
Make sure everyone is ready to see Santa! Santa may only have a set amount of time to visit and take photos, so please gather all guests upon Santa’s arrival.
Santa loves pictures with everyone! Santa wants to spread Christmas cheer to all ages: kids, teens, adults, and older folks are all welcome to take pictures with Santa!
Remember, Santa wants to look his best! Making sure kids’ hands are clean and having any sort of wipes or cleaning products on hand is helpful, especially if kids have been doing any kind of Christmas cookie decorating, crafting, etc.
